The Meadow Scarf Crochet Pattern: Subtle Duotone Houndstooth

The Design Concept Of The Meadow Scarf Crochet Pattern:A Classic Houndstooth Design

I've always had a affinity for houndstooth - I think it's just so classy and sophisticated. I even designed a houndstooth coat for Lion Brand Yarn a few years ago, which was a big hit. Lately, I've been wanting to add a few houndstooth designs to the Darling Jadore portfolio, which is precisely why I designed The Meadow Scarf crochet pattern! I specifically designed this pattern to be suitable for beginner crocheters, and it requires only the simplest of crochet stitches and techniques. Subtle contrasts of earth-toned shades harmoniously blend together, creating a beautifully understated houndstooth design for this lovely and easy crochet pattern. The prominent duo-tone textile pattern on this stunning scarf is characterized by broken checks of an abstract four-pointed shape, making this scarf a truly timeless fashion accessory resembling the classic houndstooth pattern.

Seamlessly crocheted flat, The Meadow Scarf crochet pattern is super simple to follow, and equips you with highly-detailed written instructions, a photo tutorial, a stitch chart, links to numerous video and photo support, a stitch glossary, a schematic with measurements, and more. Overall this crochet pattern works up super fast and is a staple item in any fall or winter wardrobe.

You can also grab the crochet pattern on Ravelry, Etsy, and LoveKnitting.

More Details Of The Meadow Scarf Crochet Pattern: Method of Construction, What's In The Pattern + More

You will crochet The Meadow Scarf using two different yarns in order to acheieve the beautiful, subtle houndstooth design. The scarf is seamlessly crocheted flat in a classic rectangular shape and requires only the simplest of crochet stitches and techniques. There are links provided within the pattern that will direct you to the stitches and techniques as well as instructional photos within the pattern for helpful tips and tricks. If you're worried about ends you'll have to weave in (since it's crocheted using two different colors), don't worry! I've included photos and information on how to crochet this entire scarf so that you'll have zero ends to weave in at the end! Woot!

Other helpful things provided within the crochet pattern is a schematic with precise measurements, information on how to adapt the crochet pattern to make the scarf larger or smaller, a stitch glossary explaining all the stitches and techniques required, links to numerous helpful tutorial videos and photos for reference, instructional photos within the pattern, a stitch chart for reference, and more.
