Puffy, Textured Crochet Stitches For A Perfect Clutch: The Fable Bag Crochet Pattern

Textured, Puffy Stitches For A Perfect Clutch: The Fable Bag Design Inspiration & More

Gorgeous puffy stitches create a unique and structured bag making The Fable Bag the perfect accessory to store your essentials. This crochet pattern equips you with detailed written instructions, tutorial photos, links to numerous video tutorials, a stitch glossary, a schematic with measurements, and more.

When designing this bag, I wanted to incorporate a lot of texture. I had in mind to design a unique crocheted bag that still had a lot of structure (due to the texture) and was easy and quick to make. After what felt like months of trying various stitches and yarn combination, I finally ended with three variations/prototypes and couldn't narrow it down to my favorite. After photographing all three variations, I made our final decision, and I'm so please with the result!

The Fable Bag features big, puffy crochet stitches for the body, and then flows into a series of classic stitches that look knitted. The top edging is finished neatly with a rope-like finish. Due to the textured, puffy stitches, the bag is sturdy and structured and perfect for holding all your essentials!
