As a busy mama nowadays, I was looking for a fun and quick knitting project that would be practical. Something to add a touch of pretty, something to keep me interested in the project, and something that works up super quickly. And that's how The Coastal Keychain knitting pattern was born! Inspired by vintage lacework, it quickly added a touch of beauty to my set of keys; I added a bronze keychain clasp to further the vintage feel. This keychain would be perfect as teacher gifts, stocking stuffers, a house warming gift, or just as a fun little project you can make in a couple days! This knitting pattern is categorized advanced-beginners/intermediate because it has some (simple!) lacework stitches that include simple increases and decreases, and it's worked on smaller yarn and needles (Fingering/Sock-weight with US 1), which can make it a bit tricky if you're not comfortable with lacework on small needles. But overall, The Coastal Keychain knitting pattern is a quick little project that makes a huge impact!
