- Knitting pattern includes linked shopping list. Yarn: One strand of Lace-Weight (Category 0) yarn held together with one strand of Fine-Weight (Category 2) yarn. Needles: U.S. Size 3 (3.25 mm) circular, 16″. Yardage: ~263 yds of each yarn held double (for the base and I-cord strap). Weaving yarn: ~16 yds Color A; ~6 yds Color B; ~6 yds Color C; ~6 yds Color D.
- The Mira Bag is knitted from the bottom up in the round on circular knitting needles. The opening is finished with a clean I-cord bind-off, and an I-cord strap is enclosed in sewn casings along the sides of the bag and secured with overhand knots to complete the design.
